Dancers wanted!

As part of the European INTERREG GRACE project, the World Heritage Site of the Völklinger Hütte is offering an exceptional dance project under the direction of French choreographer Olivia Grandville. We are looking for people aged 15 and over who enjoy moving

– no dance experience is required!

In collaboration with the choreographer, a 15- to 20-minute dance piece will be created, featuring excerpts from the piece ‘En même temps’ – an intense collective experience combining art, body and rhythm.

 

Rehearsal schedule:

Saturday/Sunday 16/17 May
Saturday/Sunday 6/7 June
Saturday/Sunday 13/14 June

Saturdays from 3pm to 6.30pm and Sundays from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 3.30pm

The choreographer requests that all appointments be kept as far as possible.

Dress rehearsal: 19 June from 5pm
The performance as part of OPENING NIGHT at the Völklinger Hütte World Cultural Heritage Site will take place on 20 June at 7pm. (Please be there at 5pm.)
Participation is free of charge, as is catering on site.

There are a maximum of 50 places available for the workshop.

The dance workshop at the Völklinger Hütte World Cultural Heritage Site is part of the Interreg GRACE (Greater Region Artistic and Cultural Education) project, in which 25 cultural institutions and actors from the Greater Region are committed to new forms of cultural education. The performance is a collaboration with the Le Carreau theatre in Forbach.
