Measuring over seven metres in height, Andreas Greiner's Monument for the 308, reminiscent of a dinosaur skeleton, is his memorial to the Ross 308 breed of broiler chicken. The giant 3D-printed skeleton, created on a scale of 20:1, was made using X-ray technology. First, the Berlin-based artist X-rayed the chicken carcass, bred for maximum meat yield, using CT technology to reveal its deformities. These chickens have distinctive stubby wings and excessively sturdy leg bones to support the weight of the meat attached to their breastbone. They are fattened to such an extent that they are fully grown and ready for slaughter within 30 days.

In the basement of the Gebläsehalle, Greiner's Neopteryx exhibit displays the skeleton of a breeding chicken modelled like a prehistoric fossil after excavation. This refers to the evolutionary proximity of chickens and Archaeopteryx. Millions of years of natural development are contrasted with genetic manipulation through human breeding in the livestock farming of the Anthropocene.

In contrast, Greiner's video loop Éléonore (CT) shows a rotating 3D model of a broiler chicken captured by computer tomography at Berlin's Charité hospital. The video uses unaltered raw data from the scans. The 3D print of the giant skeleton was created using such data.
