Description
Danny Franzreb's work examines the transformative effect of our digitalised society on individual identity. Proof of Work provides insights into the world of blockhain, bitcoin, NFTs and the people who promote them. In the cryptocurrency boom of 2021-22, the photographer undertook a year-long journey to explore the world of digital currencies.
Thirteen images selected from this project take a look behind the scenes of cryptomining, from digging in the cellar and industrial mining farms in Russia to sustainable high-tech factories in Sweden.
